Overview
The Kelt Group, LLC (TKG) provides a wide range of investment choices suitable for virtually every financial objective. While we offer multiple financial services utilizing a vast array of investment products, our concentration is the utilization of our unique hybrid management structure.
TKG operates as a fully licensed broker-dealer allowing us to offer true, in-house asset management directed by professional money manager L. Keith Kelt. As a result, our proprietary investment model allows for unparalleled oversight and customization. Additionally, our partnership with National Financial Services, one of the nation's leading clearing firms, provides us with access to some of the world's premier asset
managers, leading to expanded portfolio solutions. Finally, simultaneously functioning as a Registered Investment Advisor allows TKG to take advantage of arranged strategic partnerships; enabling our advisor’s access to various alternative investment options not generally available to most investors. All of these factors contribute to our advisor’s ability to construct a non-correlated portfolio, primed to succeed in almost any economic environment.
We believe it is this hybrid management structure, along with TKG’s 'team approach' and focus on superior client service, that differentiates the firm and makes us a true innovator within our industry.
History
L. Keith Kelt, Derek Brumfield, and Landon Kelt launched The Kelt
Group, LLC (TKG) in 2001 as an alternative to the large national
brokerage houses where they began their careers. The idea for the
company was quite simple: a financial services firm that could help investors of all wealth classes achieve their financial goals, while prioritizing a return to personal client service; a firm that would not turn prospective clients away based on net worth, and would not turn current clients over to a call center based on account size.
For the first few years after its founding, TKG operated as a branch
office of First Wall Street Corporation, an NASD Registered
Broker-Dealer in La Jolla, CA. Although these years were quite
successful and laid the groundwork for what TKG would become, the
continued growth of the firm required greater independence. In 2005,
TKG became a registered Broker-Dealer and joined forces with National Financial Services, a subsidiary of Fidelity
Investments.
In just a brief period of time, TKG made an impressive transition
from branch office of a regional brokerage to fully functional
registered Broker-Dealer with a clearing relationship with one of the
largest and most well-respected financial services companies in the
world. Through all of the changes, however, their approach to managing
clients' assets has remained constant. Their client-friendly philosophy
will always serve as the cornerstone of the company.
